Chinatown Neon

Confucius rides backward on a donkey in this marvelous and expressive image from the Li Po restaurant in Los Angeles' Chinatown.

When the restaurant closed in the early 1980s, it was acquired by neon artist Larry Albright. He donated it to the Museum of Neon Art which has a collection of historic vintage neon signs.
